About Us
Catsnake is an independent film production company based at Ealing Film Studios in London.
Since our company was founded in 2003, Catsnake and its key personnel have been involved with over 200 productions ranging from feature films and shorts, to web content and commercial DVDs.
We produce films and drink tea from a Grade II listed building at the historic Ealing Studios.
Stephen Follows is the award-winning writer and producer of two feature films and over thirty shorts.
His most recent feature Baseline stars Jamie Foreman and Gary Stretch, and is distributed in the UK by Optimum Releasing. Many of his short films have been screened on television and at festivals worldwide.
In addition to his own projects, Stephen also acts as a consultant producer, advising on the development of feature films and all aspects of short films.
Stephen is the Festival Director of the Super Shorts International Film Festival, held every year in July. He is also the author of the Little RED Book, and writes for Moviescope Magazine on producing issues.
Chris Lightwing is a producer and director of numerous short films which have screened worldwide.
After studying film and video at the prestigious Surrey Institute of Art and Design, Chris has since gained over seven years of experience working in the British film and television industries.
His work has been selected to screen at international film festivals and locations around the world, including the BFI Southbank and the Cannes Short Film Corner.
Daniel Duncombe is an experienced media agency practitioner and media agency founder.
He was trained in media planning at Media Buying Services and network agency MEC, working on blue chip brands, including BT and Virgin Megastores. As an Associate Director at entertainment industry specialist agency DPA Daniel developed media strategies for over 50 music industry artists including Michael Jackson, Jamiroquai and George Michael.
As Planning and Communications Director at Target Media, he oversaw the planning function across all clients. He later founded communications planning and buying media company Dandelion Media, working for Demon Music, ILC Sport, Tartan Films, Raffles Hotels and Europa Insurance.
Jon Chase is a highly experienced and successful business leader within the communications world.
For 15+ years, he worked within the International media agency environment (Vivaki/ ZenithOptimedia, Aegis/Carat and Universal McCann). His earlier career years were invested in both consumer research (Benchmark Research) and TV ad sales (ITV).
Jon is Chairman of the European Media Agencies for European Association of Communications Agencies.
Jon was CEO of ZenithOptimedia International from 2006 to 2010. Under his leadership, the agency won 35% of all Awards at the leading industry events (Cannes and M&M Global) - including 3 x Agency of the Year, 5 x Campaign of the Year and 3 Gold Lions.
